Is anyone else having an intermittent cursor hang every 4 or 5 seconds? Maybe it's just me. Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Okay, the stutter seems to be just in the menus. Once the game starts, it goes away. However, the game is really sluggish. The cursor moves like it's in molasses and the scroll speed is terrible. My PC has plenty of power. Just seems like a bad port of the game.

I'm on win 7, I open the game, and have 0 mouse support AT ALL. I can't even see the mouse until I alt-tab out and in again, and even then, nothing I do gets it to work. I am on a laptop with PLENTY of power (I can run civ 6 on this, so CtP2 should have no issues.)

Except that Call To Power 2 is an ancient game, that you're trying to run on an OS that is a decade newer than it which is out of the general support cycle. Maybe try poking it with OTVDM or running it via WINE.
Hi Everyone!
I've got same problem with lagging mouse. I'm using Predator Helios 300 laptop and solution was easy - just use the touchpad build in laptop. When I used mouse - no matter what kind of DPI or compatibility mode the lag was still there (sometimes less, sometimes more but was there all the time).
Maybe it isn't perfect solution but defo it works.
Cheers,
