What do you suggest is the best Cthulhu game?

What game really captures the tone and mythos of Cthulhu?
Which one has the best mystory to solve?

Is there a game that allows a player to interact with the old ones or similar creatures?

I've played a few, and most have been alright but not great. All except Dark Corners of the Earth. It's inspired by the Shadow over Innsmouth, and unfortunately requires a patch to work properly, but in terms of atmosphere and gameplay I'd say it's unmatched
