If there's a way to make the game vertical and configure individual keys for the keyboard then I haven't found them yet. Groups of keys can be configured but not single keys. I hope they add the option to do so, if neither are currently possible. Using an arcade control panel (HotRod SE) has spoiled me and I prefer not to use anything else for games like this. :)

Well at least to rotate the screen in win 7 itself I know the command is you hold the right alt button and press left or right arrow, up to return to default but games may or may not recognize recognize this, only upside-up and upside-down perspectives. So you'll either have to play windowed or create a custom resolution of 1080x1920 (9:16) for example, I myself haven't created a custom res for this particular task yet though.
