Just downloaded C3 and every time I choose a new tile or change map view etc, the screen freezes then starts again. Very frustrating as it for 5 seconds+ every time I add houses, clear trees etc. Any ideas what may be causing it? Running on Win 7. Thanks for your help.

Try running it in compatibility mode for Win98, disabling visual themes and disabling desktop composition.
