Anyone familiar with it and want to do a review?
Er, which?

There's three. One moribund, the other two are sister projects.

It looks like the "Augustus Mod" is the favorite. Have you played?

Sure. It's based off the Julius source port, but with "purity" breaking features; meaning that once you save a file in it, you can't load it in the original game. (Which isn't much of a loss.

I play with the Julius mod because I prefer the vanilla experience, and it works splendidly. There are a couple of bug fixes, support for higher resolutions, smooth scrolling and a smattering of other UI improvements.

Thanks
Loaded Augustus. These guys have done a great job. Wow. Seamless so far.
I was worried about including roadblocks. But they work differently than other roadblocks and they appear to be a good compromise between having your people wander to the edge of the map while your city is falling apart (C3, I HATE YOU!) or perfect cities that can get boring (Phar et al.). But I am only on the second mission. So will see.
Thank again.
