I tried to start Brothers in Arms Hells Highway and always got an error message " General protection fault" with a list of files which cannot be found. Some are DLL files in the system folder some files in the installation folder of the games. All the files exists in the location where the game claims that they cannot be found.
I have also tried to start the game as admin but no changes.
I have a Radeon RX580 graphics card.

Any ideas?

You should probably contact gog support although they might take some days since it is the new year holidays and with the winter sale they mush have a lot of support tickets to deal with.
What I can recommend is that you install the game again (a good location is this C:\GOGgames) or verify the installation if you are using galaxy to see if there are any missing files.

It's a common issue related to Physx drivers. Basically you have to uninstall and then reinstall them.

I do have a AMD Radeon graphics card therefore I do not have any PhysX driver installed. Therefore this should not be my issue, or am I getting something wrong?

The game requires PhysX drivers in order to run and they can be installed on your system even if you don't own an Nvidia GPU.
PhsyX is basically a physics simulation engine: if you don't have an Nvidia GPU, then your CPU will run the processes needed by the game to run correctly.

i now receive this message BIA.Hells Highway: i installed the Physix stuff from nvidia although on the laptop i have a radeon mobile card.

found a solution to launch BIA Hells Highway in the game folder i need to launch BIAHH.exe and it works (windows 10-64 bit)

To fix this issue, I went into :
C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Gearbox Software\Brothers in Arms
and delete the files there. That did the trick for me.

Files must had been corrupted somehow.
