Ok, so Nico's French accent is occasionally terrible but on the whole, BS2 has some of the most natural-sounding voice acting I've heard in a game. The music is also terrific and really sets the tone for the adventure. How come so many over-budgeted games released today can't manage this level of aural brilliance.
I agree the voice acting is just plain great!! Broken sword 1 and 2 are the kind of point and click adventure games that I never skip past the dialog when I'm playing through them.
I really like Stobbard's voice actor, but I'm shocked to see they changed Nico's and Lobineau's. They aren't half good they were in Broken Sword 1.
Yeah, I too preferred Nico and Lobineau's voice actors in Broken Sword 1. So Far Broken Sword 2 is great though!
This game is so great. So many memories...
Thank you Revolution Software!
And yes, voice acting is one of the best in gaming history.

Just love the Karzac and Nico scene and Georges talk with gendarme.
I do love the very great voice acting in the first two games, surely nostalgic.
Already finished playing Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror. Now i'm buzy with The Shadow of the Templars. After that im going to start with the recently buyed Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon. This project stays a wonderfull initiative! Hail to Good old Games. :)

I m missing my french version for one reason : George Stobbart has a delightful American accent. It gives him even more charisma. I don t know if it s the same with German, Spanish, Italian etc... That reminds me the British accent of Simon in "Simon the sorcerer". Priceless :)
I feel the Shadow of the Templars has the best voice acting (as well as, unfortunately, the worst recording of the voices) out of all the games. The only change I would make is having Sarah Crook from The Sleeping Dragon as Nico. Other than that, perfect! Especially since one of my favourite actors, Colin MacFarlane, does several voices (including the concierge, Eric Sopmarsh, the jongleur, O'Brien and Dwayne).
