I have never gotten rid of any of my pc adventure games, and after I beat all the wing commander games here on gog, I decided to replay one of the best adventure games of all time circle of blood or as its truly known as broken sword. anyways.

after playing for a while today a question about the story kept bothering me. it involves the picture nico took of Kahn, where and when did she take the picture. if you remember the opening cut scene nico is nowhere near the cafe, and even after the explosion she does not show up until the police officers question you. not only that but the picture is of him without the clown makeup and if you remember at the start of the game, it shows Kahn running away from the cafe before the explosion still in full makeup. I know its a small complaint but it is bothering me, mostly bc the rest of the game is pretty meticulous when it comes to detail of the story. does this bother anybody else besides me??
Alright, try to follow me here… After Khan initially bombed the cafe, he retreated into the alleyway, ran down into the sewer, removed his clown nose, wiped the theatrical greasepaint off of his face, and went up the ladder where he entered the courtyard and had his confrontation with the butler guy. I think we are to induce that Nico, while George was being interrogated by the police inside the cafe, was snapping pictures of the scene. After talking to George and leaving the scene to get her pictures developed, she noticed Khan in one of her pictures and had his image enlarged. Khan was leaving the courtyard as George and the police were inside the cafe and Nico didn't notice it as she was taking the pics. I think that's kinda the timeline of how things happened. Basically, George follows Khans path through the sewers, up into the courtyard, and back out onto the street.
maybe or maybe not could have been explained a little better. guess nico could have heard Kahn and the hotel security guard fighting and snapped the picture
I wondered about the same thing, also because it semes to be George himself who's in the forefront of that picture.
yeah its all a bit confusing its really a small plot hole that someone forgot to fix
