It seems that whenever I try to save my game or load a game, the game exits out of itself for some reason. Any way to fix this?

I believe this issue was answered here - found via the support page under 'help from the community'

A very simple work-around that worked for me:

1) Instead of starting the game through the desktop shortcut, go into your Broken Sword folder, choose the ScummVM folder and start scummvm.exe

2) Press "Add Game...", choose the folder you installed Broken Sword in and press OK.

3) Start Broken Sword through the ScummVM menu.

4) Save your game to your hearts content!
