Hi!

I've never really played these games, but I love adventure games. I know that the first game has something to do with the Knights Templar, but I was wondering whether or not the Broken Sword games get into conspiracy theories about the identity of Jesus and/or Dan Brown style gnosticism, etc.

I'd prefer to avoid that stuff, so I'm hoping the answer is "no."

Thanks!

You should be fine with the first game at least. It's the only one that I've played, but I know that it doesn't have any conspiracy theories or anything like that about Jesus. So you're good in that regard.

As for the other games, though, I don't know; I've never played them.

1, 2 & 3 certainly don't go into that area, I've not played 4 so I can't answer for that one.

Thanks fellas! I appreciate the info. I see some purchases happening before the sale ends. :^D
Broken Sword 4: Angel of Death explores what you're talking about more thoroughly than the others. Involving the Vatican, the Ark of the Covenant, Manna, this game feels most like a Dan Brown novel. It's not a terrible game, but it could have been so much more. Definitely check out the first game though (starting with the original version, THEN the directors cut).
