Playing George, at hotel (about 25%into the game)

I've talked to people in lobby, stole key, gained access and clues from room, talked/was threatened by goon outside, went down alleyway

I can't see that I have anything else to talk to anyone about and I see no new clues, but I can't leave the street.

Did I miss something?

do you get the the scroll from the safe?
