Did anybody know that Emily Ketch, the annoying little girl from BS2 is a Ghost. There is a lot of Proof. Some people talked about it on the Internet, so I asked Revolution on their Facebook Page, and they confirmed that it is True! :O
She died of starvation in the Treasure Chest, Rio referes to her in past tense, she fades once when You talk to her etc... :O :O :O
What?!
Allow me to try and clarify. *Potential Spoiler Alert*

In Broken Sword 2 : The Smoking Mirror, whilst on Ketch's Landing, Stobbart meets Ketch's descendants Frost & Mina. He discovers that they have a niece called Emily. George finds out that Emily & Rio like to play with each other, & the Ketch sisters loathe Rio, so George tells them that he has seen Emily & Rio playing together. They are just as baffled as Rio is when you explain to him your diversion.

Whilst in the museum, you open a chest and out pops Emily. If you talk to Rio after speaking to Emily, he still seems confused. At one point when you're with Emily, rather than turning around 180 degrees, she "fades" around. Then when you reach Zombie Island and talk to Rio, he tells you the story of the last time he played hide-and-seek with her, as she his in a chest that can only be opened from the outside.

The story heavily implies that she was trapped and died from either starvation, suffocation, or both. Add that to the "ethereal" animation I referred to earlier, and there's plenty of evidence (rather than proof) that Emily is indeed a ghost.

The fact that Revolution has confirmed this leaves no doubt (at first I though that turn was an animation glitch!) and especially when you see a ghost in the next segment with Nico in the abandoned Underground station.
I didn't really notice the first time I played through the game, but it did all click for me the second time. Still think it's a very, very awkward moment when you're getting off the boat and there's that "...We never spoke about Emily Ketch again" line.

And I'm pretty sure you can get the ghost of Khan to appear while Nico is in the subway... can't remember how, though.

Yeah it's Khan dressed in his old lady disguise.
You can get a nice little easter egg if you buy the chocolate from the vending machine and (try to) give it the Khan ghost (you can't actually give it to him but you need to attempt it). Then you can exit to the left instead of the right and see a scene from another game available on GoG...

Thanks, I'll try to remember that if I play through the game once more.

Some funny references to the first game too. Such as when trying to give the red ball to Rio :D
I just played the part where Jaws reached Zombie Island, and something made me google Emily. Now my guts feel wrenched, like I never felt before... like a horse kicked me, idk. I really liked Emily (more than Mr. Stobbart, and the way he says "Hell no" to her asking to take her with him sounded very rude and uncalled for). This took me off guard. Ye gods above...

Yes, I knew.
Took me a couple gameplays to realise, but I got there eventually :)
Still, it's creepy nonetheless.
