God, i LOVE this series (only ever played up to 3 though):

My questions:

1) i have read in the review that *The Sleeping Dragon* is more *controller* oriented (can i stilll use mouse/keyboard)?

2) I know that *shadow of the templars* works on my pc (old *downloaded* version), would the rest of the series also work? (i have not exactly a *basic* computer- I can play world of warcraft and most other games with similar graphics)

3) in terms of the 1st one, which version is better? i'm a nostalgic at heart, BUT, is it better to go for the director's cut *with the added video renderings/extra chapter* or should i stay true to the origional? (i know its a personal thing, but the most votes wins in my book :D )

i think i have covered all my questions... if i have any more i will add to it as *EDITS* rather than spam this thread...

Thanks

1. You could only use keyboard, but it isn't that bad, in the beginning I was reluctant to play the game from the same reason but after a while you get use to it and it is a pretty decent game in my opinion.

2. I don't know your definition of "basic" but it should work on pretty much on any old computer, check out the system requirements in the game pages.

3. I prefer the new version (mainly due to my love of Nico) but it a matter of personal choice, I read alot of bad reviews about it.

1) no, you can't use the mouse in BS3, it's keyboard only (or controller).

2) Shadow of the Templars is a very old game, so I don't know for sure whether the entire series will run on your computer. If the first one does, rest assured the second does, too. If your computer runs WoW and similar graphics games, it *should* be able to play BS3. As for 4, I really don't know, the game may look its age, but it required quite a bit, in terms of graphics, back in the day. 5 may look like the first games but it actually packs a punch in the graphics department, so do a system requirements' check in order to find out if you can run it or not.

3) the original, non-Director's Cut, is, in my opinion, way better than its "upgraded" version. If you buy it here on GOG you get both versions, so... you can't go wrong with that one. :)

thank you for this, i will get them all... do you know how the 30 day thing works? (do i lose it once installed? i.e, if i try the sleeping dragon and it doesn't work, can i get my money back? or does it have to stay in the downloader without being installed?)

You can get a refund if you download a game, tried reaching support and they are unable to get you running it. Other than that, you can get refunds for every game you buy, within 30 days, just as long as you don't download them or any of the extra content.
ok, thanks for this, you have been a great help *solution and stars*
