I tried downloading the game THREE times via Gog's own installer. Never worked. Got chunk error halfway through each time. Took Gog's advice and downloaded all the window files. Got following errors on installation (attached 7 images). Then I uninstalled Part 1 and all Broken Sword files, rebooted my system, cleared cache, etc. etc. Same thing happened again. This has been several hours, several used gigabites of internet allocation. And still nothing... This is really disappointing and quite frankly unacceptable. I had none of these problems with Part 1. Please help.

Attached 7 images of errors during installation. Tried aborting, then finally ignoring, then got error when tried to run it. Tried to reboot, uninstalled all previous BS5 files (from Part 1 and from new complete BS5), rebooted, etc. I repeat, had no problems installing Part 1. This has been time consuming and has cost me lots of time and internet allowance. And still no game...

Very frustrated and disappointed about this - it's been almost a day since it was released now and still can't play it :(

Hey,

I'm not sure on the download issues you are having, but I did have to redownload BS5 myself this morning.

Have you tried renaming the original download directory so a new one is created when you are downloading?

Also, make sure you are running the right version of the installer (I got confused when I only have Ep1 first install run round :) )

Thanks. I'll try this. Gog customer support has NOT been at all helpful, and I think Part 4 is renamed or missing from original files. I'm trying to download it again now for the 8th time.... still no luck so far, will keep posted. Thanks

So there's no way to dowload Episode 2 separately? I have to dowload the first part again?

This could be an issue for users with a limited bandwidth.

exactly the sames lauching problems, GOG informed, e-mails echanged, wait and see...

I tried on 2 different pc, the same problem remain ...

FIXED ! with the help of GOG support:

downloaded game on another PC, lauch the game directly by the BS5_ff file in the folder (and create another .ink) for this

copy the entire folder installed to the another pc (without starting the installation program) and create yout .ink ; it works !
