Ok, so like some others I have limited bandwidth, except after midnight, so last night I set the game to download via the downloader because I couldn't stay up downloading the individual files. This was last night after the files had supposedly been corrected.

But it appears that the Downloader, although it says completed, didn't download anything new. Everything still says "Episode 1" and the files in the GOG downloader folder in my documents have a date of December. And I don't have 6+ GB of data, just about 3.

So what the hell was it downloading last night, if it didn't even replace my previous files?

So if I want this game I have to download it manually, for the third time?

You know, I always will choose GOG over Steam, but damn if this isn't making me change my mind.

downloaded yes, but it doesn't work ... on my WIN XP yet (2 different pc)
I downloaded it yesterday with the GOG downloader, only minutes after it was added and I had no problems. I'm not saying this as if your problem wasn't real and frustrating, but it's not a general problem that always occurs.

I also had no problems playing from the end of episode 1 into the beginning of episode 2. Revolution sent an email today, that the GOG version might have a problem there. I (was lucky and) didn't encounter any issues.
Yup, I downloaded it and I'm playing it, the old save worked, I'm at 79% completion at the moment without any bugs (did discover an easter egg though, I think).
Did you use the recent version of the GOG downloader? A few months ago I had problems with file corruption, too, but an update of the downloader fixed it.
Problem solved with the help of GOG support, YEs MAN !

A bit late, but here're a couple of suggestions:

-- Try to clean your GOG user folder - it's C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Local Settings\Application Data\GOG.com. Clean that folder while the Downloader doesn't run.

-- Try to move your already downloaded files to a different location, delete the relevant folder and then start a fresh download.

-- Try to refresh your account in case it's stuck and you're not up to date - to it use this address: https://secure.gog.com/account/refresh.

-- Try a different download location - is it possible that you don't have enough space to complete the download in the default location?

-- Try to do a fresh install of the GOG Downloader - it's possible that the GOG Downloader is not working properly; uninstall it, wipe everything as instructed above, do a fresh install of the Downloader and then try to download your game.

I hope some of the above helps, because I'm out of ideas for now.

Good luck!!
