I've got a real problem here. In Phoenix, the cutscene where the safe and Maynard are in the centrifuge, when Maynard taps on the control panel then runs to the center of the centrifuge he kind of trips then stands there completely idle. The game doesn't freeze, all the effects and sounds keep playing but the cutscene sticks because Maynard isn't doing what he's supposed to do, and since there's no way to skip cutscenes i can't progress any further. Can anyone help? If you need my save i'll upload it somewhere.

Just to make sure you haven't missed anything, have you tried doing it like this:

(SPOILER)
Climb the safe to the workshop. There’s a control panel on the wall.
Try to operate the block and tackle system but the chains are rusty.
Use the engine oil to grease it and try again, select “right” and “down”.
Use the hook to link the safe and the chains.
Operate the control panel again to move the safe to the rollers.
Maynard will join Nico.

Try to operate the control panel of the roller system. Nico is told that the panel is dead because no wires are up.
Check the wires, they are loose. Use the gum to hold the wires together. Operate the panel again, but it still doesn't work! Ask Maynard to fix it, after that, operate again and the system works.

Select LEFT, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, RIGHT,UP, UP, LEFT, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, UP, UP, UP, UP.
Talk to Maynard about the safe so he gives you a hand. Flip the safe down into the centrifuge room.
When Maynard tells you to do so... press the button.

I've done all that, the safe and Maynard are in the centrifuge and Nico presses the button to start it up, the cutscene starts and Maynard freaks because he can't get back out, he runs over to the control panel inside the centrifuge and taps on it. Sometimes he gets stuck standing here, sometimes he walks away from it to the center of the centrifuge and gets stuck there instead. Either way the cutscene doesn't continue and i can't skip it to continue the game. Here's my save game, Maynard and the safe are inside the centrifuge, all you need to do is press the button to start it up. I wish somebody would actually solve this problem. I have the same issue. The save file is nice, but I'd really rather not have to use it.

I had the same problem. But I manage to progress the game.

The Short Story:
Try Saving the game, Exit, and then start the game again and Continue.
Also, try using lower refresh rate and screen resolution (optional step).
I had to restart my PC first because I tried something else (read Long Story) and when I try to exit the game, everything goes blank and I cannot access Windows other than Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart my PC.
So, after restarting, I open up the game and Continue from my last save and the cutscene runs smoothly.

The Long Story:
So, I did many steps before it finally works. I am not sure if this other steps are important or have any effect to the result. Anyway, I will just list out the things I did before it crashes to the blank screen.

- I tried making a new save and load from it.
- I tried changing the Screen Resolution and the Refresh Rate; as a note I am using Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 x 32 with 29 Hz Refresh Rate.
- Changing to full screen and window.
- Exit the game that leads to the blank screen which forces me to restart my PC.

I major difference between when it is not working and when it works was the game frame rate.
The frame rate looks somewhat slow and the characters were jittery and I believe this is happening after running the game for a while.
And, after restarting my PC (probably don't need this step) and starting the game again, the frame rate runs smoothly, no jittery characters.

In conclusion, I say just restart the game or try to lower your Refresh Rate and Screen Resolution so the game runs faster because sometimes different frame rate can cause a bug to math calculations. And also, I'm thinking something is overloading the game after a while making the whole game slows down (not really slowing down) but makes it look buggy or jittery.
