Has anyone tried taking the guts out of the files that come with the GOG download and putting them back together for BS2 to run under OS X version of ScummVM?

I'm going to try it so I was just wondering if someone had any experiences.

Well, just tried it and works like a charm so I won't delete the topic for anyone else wondering.

Download BS2 from Gog.com and install it on a Windows machine or under Crossover/Wine or Virtual Machine. Doesn't matter - you want te files that would be normally located under Program Files/Gog.com/Broken Sword II - The Smoking Mirror

Now in OS X go make a folder with a name of your liking, IE, BS2 under Applications and copy all those files there.

Now, amongst the files is a folder called Extra which holds the cutscense. Copy everything in there and paste it in the parent folder where all the other stuff is.

I guess at this point you can delete the ScummVM folder from there.

Now, run the OS X ScummVM version. Choose Add Game, go to the folder where you put everything and voila! It should figure it all out by itself. At that point you just need to set ScummVM Graphical Options for the gane to you liking and that's it.

Works like a charm.
