I played the game and really enjoyed it. Now I will wait for the english talkie version to play the game again :)

Expect to wait for quite some time - progress is slow, and as it's august already it's likely to be the end of the year by the time the talkie version is ready.

So how does it compare with the jewel that BS2 is? Story, puzzles... that sort of thing.

The puzzles were quiet entertaining but the story really doesn't feel like a continuation of the BS series to me, it uses the same characters but the plot drifts wildly away from the established storyline and some NPCs act 'out of character'.

Broken Sword 2.5 is a must-have for all Broken Sword fans, and english language pack is finally available, too ;-)

Fun game, great addition to the series. Production values are high, and I liked the english voices. George is only decent, as it is the most recognizable voice, and the actor tries to do an impression but it doesn't quite get there, but the other voices are excellent. The story is weird though, and some sequences are puzzles that don't really have much explanation, so it feels more random and trial and error (the plane for example). Also I didn't really like the retcons.

But the team did a great job all things considered.

English speakers are such whiners when it comes to reading a subtitle...
