I am confused why nobody wrote about Broken Sword 2.5 here.
It' s a game that would created and designed by a german fanbase. It's available in English and German ( voices) and some other languages (subtitels) like French and Russian.
Here is the original Fansite.

And for English speakers:

The game was produced with the agreement of Revolution Software and is completely for free. The project could get some original speakers for the game. Please take a look at this game.

all true! It is an excellent game, it's been out for years now, but so professional in it's finish that it should be considered along side the others. good call.
"I'm kind of expecting a mad clown 'to jumping' around the corner..."?

I know the original language of this game is German, but you'd think at the very least the English voice actor would have corrected this during recording. But no, he reads it word-for-nonsensical-word. I can accept typos a lot more than I can accept the voice acting being total gibberish.
Not actually stopping and thinking about the meaning of each line, that's the mark of a bad voice actor.
Seriously, I think if I play this I'm going to have to turn the voices off. Hopefully the German version was better?

I think Im one of the few broken sword fans that truly hates this game, the voice acting is horrible especially the guy trying to play george. SPOILERS INCOMING, they brought back characters who were obviously dead, which hurts the story, and the puzzles dont make sense for the situation and environments that george are in. I appreciate the time and energy that went into the game from fans but it just didnt work for me.
I think we can all agree that the guy providing the English voice for George is terrible. However, in my opinion, this is a really solid fan-made game. It's a bit unfair to compare it to the other Broken Sword games as those games were professionally made on a proper budget.

Still, for a game that was made for free and for no profit, I think it's really great. The animation looks nice, the cutscenes are very well done, and the puzzles are tricky without being impossible to solve. Also worth mentioning is that the game is finished! So many fan projects fizzle out halfway through development, but this game is complete. That alone gives it a few points in my book.
its obvious a lot of time, energy and love went into it, just the the results were bad especially with illogical puzzles and story progression
The good thing is that the german version has the original voice actor from george. Maybe they couldn't get the english one.
Are you serious? That's awesome! What a truly impressive achievement that is for a fan developer making a game for free. That must be a real treat for anyone who is used to playing the German version. Thanks for sharing that, HunterXX!

Yeah his name is Alexander Schottky and is the voice from George from Broken Sword 1 up to 5. But i dont know how the got him for part 5. Because wiki says doesnt do much synchro work anymore.

And one of his defining moment was the work with norman matt. He as the cabana boy and norman as Gybrush threepwood.
