Hi,

does anybody know why GOG shows the length of this game (Broken Sword: Director's Cut) for collectioner as 11 hours? There are no achievements for this game in GOG, as far as I know, so not sure why it's mentioned.

Cheers :)

If I could venture a guess, it is because you can get straight away to the point, or enjoy all the content even despite the fact there is no achievements. I was always trying to exhaust all the dialogue options (you do not have to do it to finish the game), but in general the most of the characters you can speak to, you can talk about all the items in your inventory. this means there is quite a few dialogues to enjoy, a lot of jokes and just notes enriching the whole story.

I really enjoyed humour in this game so it was never a stretch to just talk with everyone and sometimes even when I accidentally triggered the event during the dialogue, I would load and try to avoid the option till the all other options are exhausted - yeah I really liked this game:).

There are also few items that are completely unnecessary to finish the game, but you can collect these and also talk about these with other characters, usually these were the most hilarious dialogues.

PS. In a native language of the creator: gra ma na prawdę dużo 'niepotrzebnych' opcji, które można wybrać by posłuchać o motywacji postaci i wzbogacających historię.
