Hi there everyone,

We hope that you are all just as hyped for the Broken Lines release as we are.

We'd like to give you a small update regarding the platforms that the game will be released on.

On the 25th of February, we are launching the PC - Windows version.
The other major OS versions, Linux and MacOS will be added at a later date, and of course, we will announce this properly as well!

Thank you for your understanding,

Thank you for the heads-up. I was already wondering why there was no Linux version on GOG. Can you please give me/us some sort of timeline for the other versions especially the Linux version? Because I would love to buy the game on GOG instead of Steam where I can already get a Linux Version. Are we talking about days/weeks/months? Thank you for your help already!

cool news for linux user ;-)
Thanks to be clear about it! I was afraid too seeing the Linux icon removed... I hope we'll see it soon.
Don't be like some other developers there... ;)
Thank you for understanding folks.

We really want to get the other OS versions here ASAP, but we hit a few strange snags so we wanted to make sure that everything here is working properly.

Right now we're not too sure when we'll be ready, but we are on the case (even now) and the moment we know when things are going to be ok, we'll give you the information!
This game rocks. Had to get it on the gamble it would run good on Linux... got the game working with Lutris which is definitely good for now. :)

No prob. Been playing version 1.0.1.6_(64bit)_(36393) on Pop!_OS 19.10 for a few hours without any issues. Esync & DXVK enabled + virtual desktop enabled in Lutris.

Wine version: lutris-5.2-x86_64 and I leave in "Fullscreen (windowed)" or the mouse will be unable to select in game and the game will freeze upon switching between currently-opened windows in other workspaces.

OS: Pop!_OS 19.10
KERNEL: 5.3.0-7625-generic
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core
GPU: Radeon RX Vega
GPU DRIVER: 4.5 Mesa 19.2.8
RAM: 16 GB

The game has been flawless for me with the aforementioned configuration and settings.

Really enjoying the game. The only problem so far is that my 2080ti seems to be working super hard running it. Never had a game make all fans whir up full speed at once.

I just wanted to thank you for the linux version of the game (it is not that common to even get a separate linux version) and your swift and timely release of the linux version. As soon as I saw the penguin I bought it and it worked flawlessly out of so far. So good job! I hope the extra effort with 3 versions pays off.
