Just writing in case others have the same problem in future: Broforce was crashing for me on Windows 10, before even showing the title screen or whatever, just black window and message "Broforce_beta has stopped responding". What helped for me was to find the Broforce_beta.exe file, then right-click and select "Troubleshoot compatibility" (in Polish: "Rozwiąż problemy ze zgodnością"). Then it automatically picked "Windows 8" compatibility settings, and it's running perfectly ok now for me! Hope it helps you too.

Cool that you're visiting here! :)

To continue on this, I've still had the same crash some time later, after running some more apps; then it helped when I closed the remaining apps (esp. Internet browser), after a few seconds Broforce was starting nicely again. I just love the squeeee of the eagle or whatever it is :)
