I've got it showing up in the research table and I built all the stuff, but it's still greyed out.

Do I have to have the blueprints before researching it?
I think I have only two of those.
Doesn't really make sense since research is discovering something new.....

Research should at least count for one of the blueprints. I ended up getting the ZAZ via research I think, but I did have two of the blueprints before I started it (I think).
