Has anyone else had the game softlock on you after 15-20 minutes of playing? I tried playing this game on two different Windows 10 computers and even Windows 7 just for fun, and the game will stop "progressing". I can still click and drag to move the camera around and can press Esc to get back to the main menu, but nothing else works. This happens on both the overworld map and in battles.

It happened twice in the prologue right around the time you finish moving through the alternate route (once before the final node, once after), and another time it happened when I did a run without going through the prologue. I was about three nodes away from exiting the first sector when it locked up. This run had to have taken longer up to that point, but I wasn't keeping track.

What's really strange is that sometimes exiting to the main menu and trying to continue the run doesn't work. I click Continue and nothing happens. I'm not sure what's going on and I'm trying on Intel, nVidia, and AMD hardware... what do you think?

Edit: after a couple more runs, the game locked up when trying to leave a station after I had entered the hangar. The ship flies out of the station then freezes in place. Clicking "Leave" again restarts the ship animation where it freezes upon reaching the end. Interestingly, I was still able to buy and sell things when this happened. Hovering my mouse over different hardpoints highlights them on the ship, and they stay highlighted, so you can see my frozen ship with all hardpoints lit up in the picture.

Yes. Locks on the same tile in the prolog. Went through the Prolog twice with the same result. You can mouse over objects, but you cannot move or do anything.


See screenshot. Stuck. Unable to move. Can't pull down the ship menu to add cargo to weapons slots, nothing.

The Demo did not have this issue as I was able to pass the prolog and get to the first boss.

Just tried a 3rd time. Lock at that exact tile.

This should be fixed with the next update.

Yeah, same for me.

According to the DEV's it needs one more update to be fixed.

I'm still getting this issue after version 1.32.3.0. Same behavior, same locations (prologue, exiting stations). I want to play this game...

Just tried myself on 1.32.3.0 and still the same problem. Confirmed.

The prologue works for me too, but the game still locks up when I leave stations. It's still a step forward!

I can leave stations as of version 1.32.6.1 and haven't encountered any softlocks so far. I made it to the second boss and got spanked, so I think it's safe to say that the bug is fixed.
