I picked this game up but was disappointed to find it didn't have a manual. I managed to track down a PDF for the Mac / Atari ST version and it had a few useful bits of information that helped me play the game:

1. Shift+click on Next to end turn.

2. Shift+click next to a marine to change facing direction.

3. Alt+click a marine to jump to them immediately, saving time clicking Next to cycle through them all.

I also figured out:

1. Alt+F9 quits out of both the Battle and Scenario builder programs (the game is built from two .exe files)

2. Alt+F7 in the scenario builder to view stats on a saved squad leader file.
