When I try to run Botanicula, I am greeted with a black screen and that's it. The game will not load, there is no sound, or any options at all. I have tried launching the shortcut as well as the .exe directly. I have also tried reinstalling the game.

Do you see the Amanita Design logo or nothing at all?

If you do not see the logo and there is just a black screen, it might be a driver issue. We have noticed a few users with AMD graphics sometimes encounter black screens on our games made in Adobe Air. According to some recent reports, updating your drivers should solve the issue. Please try that and let me know how it turned out.

Hello,

There is only a black screen. The issue is occurring with multiple games. I have tried updating the drivers. Is there an alternative that I can install to replace Adobe Flash to allow the games to run?

After going to AMD's website and direct downloading a driver update, Botanicula now plays.
Thank you for the information! I can't wait to get back into all of these games!
