etb: I know, but it ridiculous and hypocritical. Really, it is the first result of google.

I really do not think that anyone who do not want to buy the game here or otherwise will use mr. max_in_sky link directly. They just google ``botanicula torrent''
Yeah ;)

Another thing.... it's weard. On some online distribution sites the game is already online. But not on gog and on the official amanita page ^^

pptakashi: I just say. Most forums will ban you for posting download links to illegal versions of a game.
I'm probably on some wimpy forums. They remove the link and warn you.
I dont get it too, its out on Gamersgate for almost 8 hours now, 16 hours on Gamesrocket.

Maybe there should be more accurate download times than just "somewhen April 19th".

If I knew it before that it takes forever for the game to unlock here, I would have bought it on Gamersgate.

etb: You are kidding, right? Banned for posting the funking first result of google?
That's perfect logic. Let me just post this child porn, snuff videos, and codes to launch nuclear weapons but don't ban me because they were all the first link in google.
I notice a small problem with your sense of scale.

Come on... I do not want talk... I wanna play. GOG?

After the experience with ME3 DLC, Legend of Grimrock and Botanicula I have to say two bad things about the customers as well as the publishers.

First, some people are really like little kids. Cannot wait few hours and if they don't get it in time they're crying bloody murder. Overreaction is a very weak word for them.

And the publishers are simply obtuse as hell. Why in the world they keep irritating their customers when it's completely avoidable? Why not release games in such a time so that most people from different time zones don't have to wait all day?

If they released games at midnight EST then Americans and Europeans could play them as soon as they wake up and Asians/Aussies/Kiwis late morning, which would be still better than 5 pm.

It's a small stupid detail but it wouldn't take much to solve it.

Do you know why is it the first result? Because people posting this torrent link on forums. That's how Google's PageRank works.

Maybe, but it's still inappropriate.

+1 to that :)

Good night all. For me it's tomorrow then.
Have something to be happy for tomorrow, yeah :D

pptakashi: This could and should get you banned^^
Oh, please. The one who wants to get it via torrent will get it via torrent. He will not look for any links specifically at GOG's forum.

Now if I paid money to devs anyway why can't I download it via torrent? I made my part of the deal but the publishers didn't.
Have I missed something?

Is there a specific time today it's supposed to be released?

Nice idea, lets use the demo soundtrack as background music.
Hey - will the demo soundtrack "transform" into the full soundtrack when the game is released? otherwise itsa a bit cheap from GOG side
Asked GOG support and imedietly got answer it will be available later today.

Did you get some sort of time frame?

Later today can mean tomorrow for a lot of people.
