One of the reviews was about the missing language option.

I don't care much, I play in English anyway, but it should be there.
The 18k stretch goal was translations to German, French and Spanish, also the goal for Portugese, Polish Italian was reached - not for voice acting, that one was missed, but for written text.

Also the german shop page really says in the decription text that the game was fully translated.

Did anyone find a way to change the language?

Edit: The config file in the game's directory actually does show multiple options, but it won't react to them. I think it's not used anyway (putting config files in program directories is somewhat out of date), the games configuration and save games can be found in

%localappdata%\Insert Disk 22\Born Punk

The config file there is the one where the options are stored. But here only "English" is listed as possible entry. I tried others without success

Looks like either the multi language support was dropped at some point ot the languages will be added later.

The language support has not been dropped but due to delay in developement (covid, ect.) it will be implemented at a later time.
From the dev update:
"As far as languages are concerned, we'll start working on the promised translations right after our initial launch, and will update all supported platforms with new language-options as they get finished."

Yeah, so they told me after I contacted them. Still the bad information on the main page should be corrected if they don't want more angry people to leave bad reviews.
