I saw online co-op in steam store page.

What about gog version?
I have the same question regarding the GOG version.
Probably not. The devs are lazy. No Linux/Mac version, even though they were paid for it (funded goals) and a plethora of other oversights, as well as their clear preferrence to Steam over GOG in PC market, foretell only the worst. Actually, this game making it into GOG is a real miracle, since the separate, secondary game, was made Steam exclusive as a last minute decision, causing problems even to the Fangamer service.

Gentlemen, we 've been conned. On many promised features (especially those cancelled console ports).

You have no idea what you are talking about.
They are not lazy in regarding The Linux/Mac versions they had issues trying to get the game to work with those OSes hence the reason why they canceled those versions.

Well, they blamed the second game on inti and inti did confirmed that it was their decision to make cotm "steam exclusive". Iga is still accountable for the game even though it wasn't fully his fault.
Well the co-op tag is gone from steam... but I heard this game would have an asynchronous online thing to do with your friends, or something.

Who knows
*NOT CONFIRMED*

Rumor is, co-op feature will (re)emerge in a future DLC, one of those many, free ones, that are to come on the go.

Well... that is a bit vexing.

Nothing for it but to wait and see I guess.

Was any release date given for the Co-op feature DLC?

Visit the steam store page and announcements, in the "release news" section. They list the 6 features of extra content that already made it into the game. And they list down the rest of the 7 that are about to come. Co-op is going to arrive, after all, but it, as well as the rest of the bunch, have no clear date, at least as of yet. The only things certain, concerning those, are: They will arrive; and they are going to be free, for everybody who purchased the game.

I take it back. Maybe they did something right.
