What's in the title. The FMVs (dev logos, intro) flicker to black constantly, making them completely unwatchable. This doesn't happen in BR2 TC. Don't remember it ever happening in the original either.

We have seen the FMV flicker issue on very few systems in our tests of the game on a wide range of systems, and we find it does not persist in most cases. Terminal updated the game to render the upscaled cutscenes with a solution we found to have a much wider range of compatibility than the cutscene player in the original game. We would recommend ensuring all your graphics and display drivers are up to date, and that any graphics drivers or software you can configure to ensure the game is correctly connected to your dedicated graphics driver are set up properly (this might be done through Nvidia Control Panel or a similar tool, depending on your system). We would also suggest trying lower resolution settings from the game's launcher, especially if your system is below the Recommended system requirements shown on the Steam store page. We also recommend only playing the game on a single display if you are running a multi-display setup.

You can also send a support request if this issue persists and you would like us to investigate a fix that may be specific to your individual configuration (this may also help us in identifying why this problem may be occurring on only certain systems). When sending a support request, please run dxdiag from the Windows start (or Run) menu, then choose 'save all information', then include the generated text file as an attachment to your email to support@zigguratinteractive.com.

That is definitely curious that the issue is only occurring in BR1 for you, though, as both games use the same tool to play back the cutscenes. We can ask Terminal to take a look if you can send us your configuration info. We have also seen some configurations where the GOG Galaxy overlay can conflict with the game's rendering to cause flickering, so it might be worth trying to disable the GOG overlay in Galaxy via the Settings button to the right of the Play button when the game is selected, then Manage Installation > Configure.

I already replied to most of this on the Steam forums, but basically:
Tried lowering the res; no dice.
The drivers are up to date and the specs are fine.
I'm on a single display setup.

I did send an email to your tech support. I'd attach my DXDiag here, but GOG forums don't want me to for some reason.

I don't use the GOG Galaxy overlay and I did run the game without it and directly from the .exe many times, so that's not it.

EDIT: It seems that I can't even use the GOG Galaxy overlay in BR1TC. It does work in BR2TC though, and once again, there's no flicker.

Also having this same issue, thankfully prerendered video cutscenes are not used extensively in this game. I will send my dxdiag to gog support if it could help. Other than the intro movie flickering I have encountered no other issues.
The original stopped playing cutscenes entirely, so I was hoping they worked in the updated version.
I get the same problem, video plays through, but flickers constantly. Haven't tried BR2 yet.
