The game runs wonderfully but for some reason i can't get Rayne to stand still. I keep re-calibrating and adjusting the settings but for some reason the game is oversensitive to my controller (the same one which has no problem with Psychonauts and other games). The character is always moving, even when i'm not touching the gamepad.
It's really annoying during the first part with the platform jumping... she falls in the water every time. Any thoughts? Or am I just stuck with the mouse?

I assume you mean BR1? My first suggestion would be using a mouse - it works much better in this game. But if you really want to use a controller, then see if you have an option to set deadzone in your controller settings (my Logitech Rumblepad 2 for example has this option, but the game was "smarter" and I had to apply a persistent profile for it to work). If you cannot do it, then you may look for a software that allows this. ControlMK was the first Google result, but I have not ever used this program, and take no responsibility for anything it may do :P.
But you really should use mouse instead ;).
Thanks! I'll go with the mouse then :)
I've been looking at the configuration files and I think Ii can give a little glimmer of explanation to this.

I'm currently using a PS2 controller, and the range of the input (in the configuration files) is 0-255 (8bit), while the 'center' can be up to 10 off. It's unlikely to be exactly at the center obviously making her always moving.

In Bloodrayne 2 I found an interesting entry in the configuration: nullzone=0.2 . I believe this entry determines how far from the center is considered the center still, and my controller input is 16bit compared to 8bit, so if it's based on 100 percent then 0.2 is 1380 (within it's center area of 65k) is still center; OR it could also be a multiplier at which point 13k is null/center (1/5th).

I've tried adding the nullzone property to BR1, but it seems to be ignored which is too bad. I don't see any readmes for manual configuration of settings so I can't be sure if there isn't a similar setting under a different name. Maybe something will show itself later.

Nevermind.
