Finished the first one and playing through part 2. To be honest, I feel the changes make part 2 inferior to the original. Rayne seems more constrained and less super human. The levels are more linear and not as free to explore. Also, the lack of high jump is a disappointment. In BR1 it seems Rayne could go anywhere and jump on anything. BR2 is more brawling like Fighting Force or something. The respawning enemies and tedious grappling mechanics make the game more frustrating than enjoyable. In the first game, it was a fast paced 3rd person shooter with hack-n-slash gimmicks that actually worked. Not so much here.
