and how would I go about that? just drag the files to another folder, and then put them back on the new blood folder once I re-install it?
and what exactly do you mean my purging the installation folder?

Yes, exactly.

Uninstall and delete anything left from Program Files\GoG.com\
is there a file that I can save that has my control / keyboard settings saved on it?

also, there shouldn't BE anything left once I un-install the game, correct?

blood.cfg, but this file has some other settings in it that might cause issues. Make a backup and you can copy/paste your key bindings later.

Depends on how inclusive the uninstaller is. Most installation utilities wont delete a folder if additional files, that were not part of the installation manifest, are still kicking around.
okay, I'm going to uninstall it then. Just to make sure were clear on everything (im scared of messing something up, lol) remove the .sav files, I'll copy down all of my keyboard / control settings on a new notepad file, then un-install the game, delete anything left in the folder/file, then come on here (gog.com) and re-install the game.

is that right?

Sounds about right. I know it's a lame solution, but some times things wig out and unless you know what you are doing with DOSBox, a simple reinstall will be easiest.
okay thanks for the help I'll let you know how it turns out
ok I reinstalled the game the screen is fine everything IS OKAY except I can't find the blood file that had all the files and game settings in it. I'm thinking I might have deleted the whole thing by accident instead of just the contents. How do I fix this?

NEVERMIND i figured it out it just took me a while to find the folder. THANKS I'm all good now :)
