I'm bored so I thought I'd stir the pot a bit.

You! YOU!.....You silly person you!
Hopefully they'd let somebody make a Blood 3.

I've thought about that over and over. Unfortunately Monolith made the ending to Blood 2 all weird. So if someone did make a third blood game; it would have to be in a time period between 2 and the first blood, Or a prequel. For it to make any sense whatsoever.

Forget both games and just give the whole thing a good reboot. Keep the characters and the humor of course but just start from scratch. Let the player play each of the characters as they progress through the game during different points of their lives and across time.

It wasn't to bad of an ending, and with the Chosen stuck in the alternate realm the Cabal could run amok for a while longer.

The Chosen could pop out in any kind of environment, from zombie riddled post-apocalypse (aka Resident Evil) to a post-Singularity scenario populated by robot people. Obviously Caleb wouldn't like either of these scenarios much.

I had a dream about Blood 3 last night, reminded me allot of Turok. The dream itself felt REALLY real and the game looked really cool, I woke up depressed finding out that it was just a dream. :c

In any case though, I thought that the nightmare pack's story returned the Chosen back to reality? I've never played it, so I don't know.

I think they were still stuck out in limbo. Not much of a story anyways in the Nightmare Levels.

Hopefully this wont be a spoiler for anyone...

The Chosen are still in "limbo", in the Nightmare levels, the Chosen faced one of the limbo denizens "the Nightmare", a beast that had the ability to entrap it's target into their nightmare, a bit like Freddy Kruger. Unlike F.K., the Nightmare can transport it's target directly into a pocket dimension that represents the target's nightmare, where it would devour them. Assuming that Caleb still absorbs the abilities of his foes, it's possible that he now has the ability to open similar portals. Which would allow Monolith to make up any cockamamie new scenario for the Chosen to face.

Just say that Blood 2 was an alternate timeline, like they did in mortal kombat 9.

(I actually made a GOG account to get blood)

Thing is Atari don't own the rights to Blood any more Warner Bros. does.
I've been toying with the thought of trying to do a sequel to a multitude of good old games if I ever break into the business.

I can't imagine how some game series just went and died.
If they did buy it, we could commission for the source code to be released so we could get working on a port to make improvements and support for windows and other OSs.
