How do I slow it down?

And I'm sure I'm not running. That's even faster.
Caps Lock to turn always run on/off.

Hold L Shift to walk/run.

I appreciate it, but that's not the issue. That's why I wrote "I'm sure I'm not running. That's even faster."

That was my way to point out I know how to run and walk, but what I am saying is that the walking speed (the supposedly slower one) is still way too fast.

It's unplayable to me.

I know what you mean, the walking speed and the running speed is way faster than the dos version.
It kind of makes the game feel different. But i would not say it makes the game unplayable.

Perhaps it is tied to framerate ? I set the game to 60 fps, not 30 like it was at default.

I do like the port, but as a dos purist (yeah i know, it's a desease) i cannot help but like the original better due to these little things. (see also my midi module issue in the forum).

Thanks, Serrith. Yeah, I tried those two settings but it didn't change anything on my system. I had played the DOS version without issue, now I find myself having to anticipate taking my finger off the W key so I don't zip past where I'm headed.

Shame they put so many options in this version but the one I need (to slow it down) is not there.

I have an email into support. If they can't find an answer then I'll just refund it.
