Everything played great till they updated to version 1.9.5. Now the beginning intro advertisements cannot be skipped without freezing. Quick loads would also freeze although turning off cd music fixed that. Now I am on episode 3 level three and as I am playing with a smooth 60 fps it will slowly go down till I have about 4 fps within 1 minute after my last load, which is unplayable. Not sure what happened

*Update*

Solved problem. I uninstalled Blood Fresh Supply 1.9.6. Fortunately I still had the download for version 1.8.8. So installed 1.8.8 and disabled automatic update and sync cloud saves of GOG Galaxy. Now everything works perfectly. Can even quickly skip intros. I don't know if it is possible to get the older versions or not. I was lucky enough to have mine saved. Programs are so complicated that an update in one area can screw up something in another area, I guess that is just the way it is and will always will be.

breger: Can even quickly skip intros.
There is an option to turn off the intro videos so that it loads straight to the main menu. The option has been around for quite some versions now. In the Display settings, turn off the Show Splash Movies option.

I'm not getting the issues you are describing, though, and I'm on 1.9.6. I played through Episode 3 last night and today and even with the splash movies enabled I can skip through them with the space bar (I turned them back on just to test it, and then turned them back off).

Having the exact same issue.

After the update, it sometimes freezes during the intro videos, sometimes not.

If I can get into the menu, we're talking between 1 and 5 FPS, erratically.
So, another user had a video demonstrating low frame rates in B:FS and they were able to solve it by setting the process affinity to use a single CPU

Start Blood: Fresh Supply
Press Alt+Ctrl+Del to get to Task Manager, click on More details if nessisary
Select the "Detials" tab
right-click anuket_x64.exe
select "Set Affinity"
Uncheck all but one of the CPUs
