To make a long story short, the ingame sound on my end is limited to enemy sounds & Caleb's various quips. That said, the opening cutscene has no sound whatsoever. is there a fix that'll help me with this?

A little more info would help. Are you having issues with Blood or Blood II? Also, your OS, if you please.

Sorry, it's the first one. Also, I'm running Windows 7.

So you are getting voices but no environmental sounds like weapons fire or doors opening? Music?

Actually, environmental sounds, no music, game voices, but the cutscenes are completely silent

It sounds strangely like the native sound blaster emulation WindowsXP had, but you are running DOSBox... I'm a little stumped. Have you tried the audio tests in Setup, does it respond appropriately there?

I've done all the audio tests, and they all work fine (even the one using the game's theme music).
