Sucks that there was never a High Res Pack made for this game.
I hate replaying it with those 12x12 pixels.
:(
C2G Eduke32 Port is being made.

I made a Map and level Launcher for OUWB. Works in Xp and Vista.
has not been tested in Windows 7.

Hmmmm

The lives of our team members have become somewhat more stable and fit for glorious new undertakings, and as promised, the work on the infamously awesome C2G project continues exactly where it left off this very instant.

So, the project was started long ago, and just picked back up?
Not very encouraging, if that is the case.
But, if it ever really got released, I would definitely play with it.
Eduke32 rocks.
The HRP for duke3d is ok, but the one for Quake is so freaking awesome.

Thanks for the links, skulldog09.
I've read already about Blood TC and porting Blood with eduke32, but it was year(s) ago so I wasn't updated about this.
So thanks for letting me know about C2G. And I'll try your launcher, sure.
EDIT: Ahhh, So C2G is actually Cradle to Grave, I knew of this name but didn't related it to "C2G". My bad.

Which one for Quake? got a link?
And patience, the guys who work on mods/etc have their lives too, they don't work on it exclusively.

Darkplaces is the name of the mod for quake.
It has a HRP of like 2gb also.

So sweet.

Yeah, DarkPlaces is one the most famous quake port.
So actually you're using DarkPlaces+a texture pack (Rygel's 2.7GB ultra pack, I guess?).
I am working on a reverse engineered port which aims to act just like the original Blood. It will load the RFF files as well as the extended .MAP files. I am using the Shadow Warrior source code as a base as it is slightly more advanced then Blood. I have named it OpenBlud and I really don't expect a release any time soon but I'll get there.

Nice, Stroggos. Although I don't know if this is allowed or not for Blood. (?)

It is as long as all of the code is either mine or open source. A similar project is in development for one of the Ultima games as well as Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall.

If I won the lottery I would fund this project 100%....either that or bribe Atari to release the source code. Why haven't they for Tchernobog's sake?

Probably money and/or copyright related. Source code could contain third-party code that those third-parties might not want others to see.

Well that makes sense - Except! The technology is antiquated and is only of use to fans who want to make modern OS ports! Surely they can't see a commercial reason for holding onto a build engine game's souce code? Especially one that is over 10 years old. Unless....unless the reason Blood is such a good game is because its source code is imbued with demonic power! Yesss, thats it....

Blame CEOs for that. They're the ones who decide, in the end, if something can be released to the public.
I think these mods may have appeared in the list of mods links in the OP but here is some addons/mods/etc that are worth checking out....
