I used to love this game (well I still do I just haven't played it in years) and I would like to play it on my EEE PC 1101HA because that's what I have on me for my commute. Games run terribly on that machine, but just about everything I've thrown at it from Gog.com has worked. Fallout and Rise of the Triad work fine.
Blood runs really choppy no matter what settings I use. The thing has 2GB of Ram, a decent processor (I think it's a 1.6ghz) and Windows 7 which is why it seems strange that it doesn't run well. The netbook also seems to have trouble with open GL, so maybe if there's an alternate renderer or something it will work.
If anyone has ideas that could get it up to speed I would really appreciate it.

In the "All Programs" folder under gog.com -> blood there should be a shortcut called "Graphics Mode Setup". This will let you choose what renderer Dosbox will emulate with. Good luck and have fun :D.

If it's still a little choppy, try decreasing the resolution through Blood's own setup program.
Thank you both very much! I didn't even know I could change the render mode... anyway I switched to direct draw which sped it up almost to perfection, but it was still a little choppy. Then even though in options it said it was already set to the lowest resolution I manually changed it and it ran perfectly. From there I raised the resolution and the perfect frame rate remained.
Thanks again.
