Is this a problem at my end or did the makers of these source ports remove them?
I've tried reinstalling the game, but no luck there

Your VOXEL.DAT file isn't missing is it? (Probably not since you said you reinstalled)
Are any of the other voxels showing up or is it just the keys?
It seems fine for me. I just tested it on the latest NBlood build (nblood_win64_20220106-12727).

I have the Blood voxel pack installed too, maybe there are some updated files in there that NBlood is loading for me. Maybe try installing that?

I managed to bring them back again. All it took was for me to delete everything from my messy game folder and reinstall. Having said that my VOXEL.DAT was intact the whole time
