For w/e reason, the game does not seem to recognize any keyboard inputs when I start the game. I can't scroll through the menu or even select New Game.

E: Okay, after a bit of troubleshooting I figured out that it's dosbox not recognizing the keyboard for w/e reason. I've tried manually setting it to us103 and ux103, as well as dv103, but none of them work. This is a keyboard that came with a computer I bought here in the US, so it shouldn't require another country's code I imagine. Anyone have advice for troubleshooting this further?

E2: This solution I found here worked out. Now I just need to figure out how to make this apply when I run the run game shortcut included with the installation.

So yeah does anyone know how I would be able to do that? To apply the fix when I use the shortcut to run the game provided with the installation.

So, SDL bug? Not sure if you tried any of those solutions. Might want to send in a support ticket. GOG staff was recently asking about how DOSBox games were running in Win 10. Makes me think they may have an updated SDL with their new builds.

Simplest way is likely to make a .cmd file (text file with .cmd instead of .txt extension): setting the environmental variable and launching the game (using the command in the shortcut). Save it in the game folder, copy the shortcut, and change the copy to point to the .cmd file.
