i don't know how to swap between single and double-handed mode. i don't want to shoot flare guns in double handed mode because if you use one hand it has powerful alt fire .
i mean: when you get one pistol you can use alternative fire. when you grab second - you can only shoot with two at once. how to change it without tossing away second weapon?

IIRC I think you can just press the weapon select key a second time and it will switch to a single weapon.
ie press "1" once for dual pistol, "1" again for single pistol.

you have to drop the second weapon.
I think the drop key is del.

I think he got the part where you just hit "delete" to toss away the second gun.
It would be nice to be able to switch between one gun and two while still keeping the second gun "in your belt" as it were.

I suppose someone could create a mod that does this.

oooh, that's nice. I heard the game is buggy but didn't know it's stupid :P

Or maybe a mod that works like the halo 2(and beyond) games where you have to press a button to pick up the second gun. When you run over a possible second gun it picks up ammo automatically.
