I got it isntalled but how we do to change the resolution? it is at 320x240 but i want to play at least at 800x600 so how we do?
I went to setup and changed it, but when i play it, is always at 320....
Can someone help me please!

If the in game video mode options aren't working for you then try using the Setup option in the GOG/Blood folders in your start menu.
Then navigate to Screen Setup then VESA modes. Remember to save when you exit. Don't start Blood directly from Setup as it will fail to run.
Edited: easier method discovered.

It's actually pretty annoying how GoG claims to make old games easy to use on modern hardware and then they only supply the bare bones version of DOSBox for many games. It's not very user friendly and they could have easily added things like graphic settings to the installer or a custom loader.
Not really a big deal but still.

Navagon: If the in game options menu resolution options aren't working for you then try using the supplied DOSbox to access the SETUP file and do it that way.
Use the dosbox exe then type: mount c [game install directory - make sure you've got it installed somewhere without long folder names] [enter]
Then type C: [enter] SETUP [enter]
Then navigate to Screen Setup and VESA modes. Remember to save and exit. The game will fail to run, but don't worry about that. Just start it normally.

Ok i did it but it doesn't work....it continious to have 320x200 as default....
but on the BLOOD.CFG i got this:
ScreenMode = 1
ScreenWidth = 800
ScreenHeight = 600
so...i'm a little confused :S
and also, you can't change the graphic mode setup isn't it? to work with D3D or something like that?....
thanks

Yeah, I get that too. But if you actually look at it, it will be the resolution you set it at. Don't expect better textures, or even the resolution on your weapons to be affected. But the edges of things will be a lot crisper and things in the distance will be much sharper.
I set it at 1280 x 1024 with Overlay graphics mode if that's any help.

yeah, ok, i changed it on the BLOOD.CFG...so thanks...
But it's sad that we can't play it with D3D or OpenGL...
thanks

As far as I can tell it runs fine with Open GL. It just doesn't make much use of it.
Unfortunately this game was never really designed with high resolutions (as they were at the time) in mind. So it's never going to look that great, but at least it will be a bit clearer now.

I think he meant OpenGL rendering like the renderers included in other modern Build engine source ports, not the OpenGL option in DOSBox which is only used as a way of displaying DOSBox's video output.
Actually there was a 3DFX Patch for Blood, and I think it was included in the list of 3DFX games that GliDOS runs.

Yeah, I had that running at one point. It looks terrible, is buggy and doesn't support voxels. Not really worth the time.

Ah, I didn't know about that. But I take it that was never developed for Blood, given the lack of source code?
Haven't tried it with Blood (I have the CD version, but never played it in DOS Box) but the best results I get with Redneck Rampage is running at 800x600 with openglnb output mode, and DOSBox full screen res set to my native resolution (1920x1080).
yeah it will do 1280x1024 for me, but the game engine wasn't designed for it.. (im running on phenom II, and 2x 8800gt in sli) and 1280x1024 is sluggish and poor framerate. {on any system}
so i play it at 800x600 it doesnt look as good as 1280x1024, but it sure plays way better.
and the resolutions between 800x600 and 1280x1024 flicker and stretch.
