How to access the Cryptic Passage?

Use seperate shortcut in Start menu since it's standalone episode, not something like Plasma Pak that added Post Mortem..
Start Menu\Programs\GOG.com\One Unit Whole Blood\Cryptic Passage
You can copy it directly to your desktop.
All GOG games have also shortcuts to most mandatory apps and settings in game directory.
