Hey all.
Game loads fine on 640x480 but crashes on high resolutions like 1080p. If I load the game in 640x480, then change to 1080 while playing, the game runs fine until the end of the level, then crashes when loading the next.
Anyone have any ideas?

Not a clue. Same OS as you, (Win 7 64bit) and similar symptoms but addionally it crashes liberally all over the place as well with an "MFC has stopped responding" error message. (last time it did it when I just tapped ESC to bring up the menu).
Long story short, it seems like Blood 2 is a little flaky at the moment.

you should mention what game you are referring to, but I know it's blood2.
The original cd version has the same problem.
The only fix I know of is running at a medium resolution.
1440 x 900 works.
Also disable multitexturing for image quality.
A3d gives the best 3d sound quality, and works on my x-fi with alchemy installed.
The original blood2 required a hacked AM18.dll to get music working in Vista.
Looks like GOG has gotten that problem fixed, just not hi-res or 32-bit color.

I'll have to add 1440x900 as a custom res, but I tried 720p and that worked fine. Not really a solution though, as the issue is running it at native res.
