It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

If you don't want to use dgVoodoo with Blood II you could also install these files Place all the files into your Blood II installation folder and the widescreen files into a "Custom" folder inside your Blood II installation folder, open the launcher and activate the widescreen patch under "Customize" (make sure "always load" is active).

Under Display you can pick the resolution you want and under "Advanced" you put your desired fov in the "Command-Line" (e.g. +FovX "105"). Set "Always specify these command-line parameters" to active too.

After all this is done launch the game. I tested this in Windows 10 with the latest Nvidia game-ready driver 442.19 and it works.

EDIT: Unfortunately this DXwrapper seems to only run in 16 bit color mode and also it seems to be a little buggy in cutscenes (Gideon can't finish his introduction speach in the train for example).

Malwarebytes them selves (back in 2016) said that the detection on their end was a false positive. Probably heuristics detecting the DLL calls. So, they added it to their whitelist.

https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/183073-dgvoodoo-2-false-positive/

I came here my self because Firefox flagged the download and blocked it saying it was a rarely downloaded item. Firefox even flags Dege's site as being unsafe due to reports. Maybe the reports are due to people getting the false positives.

I have little experience with the software so wanted to see if it was legitimately a problem. It seems it is just the antivirus flagging it based on how DGVoodoo behaves. Which is part of its functionality.
