Hi there, I was having a great time playing Blood until I stumbled upon those demonic choking hands. They jumped at me and choked me to death before I could kill them. I tried everything : jumping, explosives, kneeling, running around. I could not manage to detach them from my throat.
Any idea on how to kill them for good would be appreciated. Thanks !

Oh, man, really? Thats all I had to do? Those hands have ended my life so many times because I didn't even know you COULD shake them. I can even think of two times, so far, that I've had one start choking me out and I sprinted for the exit before it could finish the job.

That will make the game slightly easier now that I know.

An abattoir full of thanks, McTecman! Those hands have given me trouble since the DOS days. This will save me TONS of ammo and frustration.

yeah I had trouble with them too. My brother (whose never played the game before, by the way) thought they did a certain amount of damage and then hopped off. But obviously he doesn't know the first thing about all horror themed games: enemies attack relentlessly! So, do YOU think a demonic choking hand would ever let go of your throat? Yeah, I didn't think so.

That solutions is so much better than setting myself on fire.

I bet it sure was fun doing it like that.

I would throw TNT at my feet.

For the record: Doesn't work.

The fire solution only works if you have above 35% of health or armour. of-course when you run around screaming trying to put the fire out you might hit one of the cultist. And that always is amusing... As long as they don't re-ignite you.

At least you don't have to cut off your hand with a chainsaw. The Evil Dead 2 reference is a nice touch.
