I remember the Bloody Pulp Fiction mod being one of the best for Blood.

So I downloaded the most recent files from Mod DB, unzipped them into their own folder, and placed that into Blood:FS's 'addons' folder.

The 'BPF' folder shows up as an option when I boot up Blood:FS. But when I choose it, nothing happens: No new episodes to choose from, etc.

Other mods, such as Death Wish, are working fine for me as of right now.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'd love to play this through again!

Try the re-scripted version for GDX, it has separate rff files.

I recently posted on how to get it working with NBloood if you still have issues with B:FS

Thanks a ton I will do just that!

UPDATE:

Unfortunately that doesn't work either, and that includes renaming the INI and art files. The folder is there under addons when I start the game. But unlike Deathwish it just doesn't want to load.

I have the same issue with both bloody pulp fiction and final alone in the dark. The folders show up in the addons menu but they don't load.

Bump!
Okay, were you having problems getting it to work with B:FS or NBlood?

So, B:FS has a barf command built into the console that I *think* should work like DOS Blood's barf.exe. I've played around with it a bit, but couldn't really figure out what I need to do since it appears to be asset name replacements. I'll see if I can dig up what barf.exe was supposed to do to load the BPF assets.

Kaiser said he was going to document general barf usage (not BPF specific), but they are working on the bug list right now.

Okay, I played around with it a bit more and was able to get it working. It looks like the BPF.INI file just had malformed message line.

Extract the contents of BPFGDXv2.zip to an addons folder something like "C:\BloodFS\addons\BPF\"
Open the BPF.INI file with notepad, on line 119 there is a malformed message call
Message3 = "
Either remove the single quote mark, or complete it with a second quote mark
Message3 =
You should then be able to load Blood:FS and go into the menu and go to "Options" > "Manage Addons" and load the BPF chapters.

Unfortunately, I'm not having much luck getting the SMK cut-scenes working. Nightdive has converted the SMK files to OGV for the Blood cut-scenes, so the BPF authors will probably have to do that as well.

Hey that worked. Funny how something so simple can cause that. Now I wonder if something similar is causing the issue for final alone in the dark.
Worked for me also, Thanks!
Unfortunately even though it now loads I'm having a lot of issues using various wall switches, namely that they don't work unless you're in just the right spot and in the second level the bloody hand switch next to the painting simply won't work at all preventing progress. A lot of textures seem to also not load properly on this level as well.

I have to agree. I appreciate Dusty's work! And the game does load. But more than a few o the textures seem to be corrupted and certain switches seem to not be working. It's a real shame bc I loved the hell outta this mod and want to play it on FS (even though I know it works on GDX)
I managed to get through the level with cheats but the game crashes when loading the 4th level so yeah it needs work done.
