Hello, in every level of the game when a track is ended it doesen't repeat anymore untill i load up a save game. I tried to do something with the Setup.exe in the game folder, but a message tells me that i can't open it because the file is not compatible with my Windows 7 64-bit.
Any solutions?

Thank you

Yeah, that seems to be a DOSBox bug. I've loaded the OGGs into Audacity and copy/pasted the track three times, to make a larger music file, but once extended track plays through, it will still stop.

Ok thank you! So considering the fact that a level takes max 45 mins to get completed, if i copy/paste a track like 10 times will it be enough? I'll try that...
Thanks again for the advice
I try to edit every track with Audacity but when i put the .OGG edited files in the folder, in the levels is played the wrong track and also they start not from the beginning...So there is something wrong...Strange, because If i listen each edited track with winamp they sound perfect....
Maybe 10 repetitions and 80mb for each song are too much?

It's possible that 10 reps is to much, I'd double check that the files are named what they should be first.
OK...it's working now... I've tried 30 mins for each song but only with 15 mins will work =) Seems like there is a sort of limit in Mb for the tracks...
A fix has been committed to DOSBox (revision 3706), so this will presumably be working in 0.75, whenever it is released (or you could use one of the SVN builds to get it now, with the obvious caveat that there might be other bugs).

I always thought that the music in blood never repeated?
My interpretation of the vogons thread is that the original 1.0 release of Blood didn't loop the music, and so if that's the version you originally played, your memory is correct. It seems that this feature was introduced in subsequent versions, however, and the GOG version not looping the music is therefore due to the discussed DOSBox bug.

Bluefox91: I always thought that the music in blood never repeated?
Don't think so. I remeber the time that I had the CD version and the music was never repeated.
As mentioned earlier - it's actually a game bug. CD tracks always played just once, the only way to "solve" this was to set the music type to MIDI.

Edit: And it continued with all the patches. I can't say anything about the expansions though, because they were not sold here.

That's not correct according to this thread (also mentioned earlier here). Apparently with some drivers Blood didn't loop the music (as it was the case with Jedi Knight, which didn't loop on some computers). However, actually the game was intended to do it itself and sometimes it worked. Apparently the fix posted in the other thread even fixes this in DosBox but unfortunately I don't see myself capable of compiling it. Would be awesome if someone could compile it for others.

There are folks that compile and upload SVN builds: http://www.emucr.com/search/label/DOSBox for instance. (linked to from the DOSBox wiki: http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/SVN_Builds )

I already tried a couple of builds but unfortunately none of them fixed the issue with the music not being repeated in Blood. :/ Well, personally I consider this just a minor annoyance anyway as loading the game restarts the music and I save and load quite often.
thought it was confirmed working by others though.
