Hello Team, I bought Blood II the same day it was released, yesterday, and it will not launch. I've tried the standard troubleshooting issues described in the support tab. I've tried redownloading, reinstalling, restarting the PC, running in compatability (default after install), running it as administrator (default after install) and cannot get it to launch. The computer runs like it's going to start but never does the hard drive light just stops after 5 minutes. I've tried turning AV off (Zone Alarm) and that does not help either. I can't even launch the game directly after install with the "Launch" button. Had similar issues with Unreal and Unreal Tournament but it was fixied with the above remedies. Any body else having same problem, any adivce? Thanks all.
Problem Solved: I unchecked compatability mode and it works!

Its a long shot but you could add -gogame to the target shortcut for the game to skip passed the launcher incase that is whats causing your problems.

If you can open the launcher and the game won't start when you click on Launch Blood2 or Launch Nightmares, it's most likely an issue with the cutscenes.
Do you have ffdshow installed?

Thanks guys, found the problem and hour after I posted. I unchecked the compatability which came default after install...and it worked like a champ. I tried to reply to my own post so I wouldn't waste anyone's time, but thanks so much for the advice
But yes I do have ffdshow installed for my anime. Thanks.
